From Ordinary to Extraordinary

Juried Photography Exhibition · January 16 – April 17, 2027

show statement

Extraordinary photographs don't always begin with extraordinary subjects. A familiar street. An ordinary object. A quiet moment. A face we've passed a thousand times. A landscape we've seen before.

Sometimes, what makes an image remarkable isn't what was photographed, but what the photographer saw — and how they chose to reveal it. From Ordinary to Extraordinary celebrates photography that transforms the expected into something unexpected, beautiful, thought-provoking, mysterious, humorous, or simply worth stopping to see.

We invite photographers to look beyond the obvious and show us the extraordinary hiding in plain sight. Your submission may be a traditional photograph, a carefully observed moment, an abstract interpretation, a creative composite, or an imaginative exploration of the everyday. Show us something ordinary. Show us how you see it. Make us see it differently.
